Description

SITE#1ANDY NOLAN KYRA AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST DALTON 5/7/08
I’m going to tell you why site#1 is so awesome. First we are going to tell you about the riparian zone. The riparian zone at site one has abundant of grasses and shrubs and trees. Also there is a lot of trees there but our overhead canopy is 0-25%.
Next we will tell you about the channel. Our shape section looks like a U. The longitudinal pattern is braided. There is a low gradient at our site another thing found at site is stream banks.
Our vegetation is abundant. The artificial bank is 0-25% and there was erosion in some areas.
Next I will tell you about our reach habitat. We had two riffles and they covered 25% of our stream. We also had two pools and that cover 50% of our stream. The woody debris was abundant. The only thing we had was a beaver dam. As one can see we told you all about site #1 at Douglas Creek. We are all out of data so I hope you will visit Douglas Creek.
